4、 Measurement principle and operation process

1. Working principle

Based on thermal analysis technology: Insert a dedicated disposable thermocouple probe into molten iron, record the cooling curve, analyze the characteristic points of the curve (liquidus, solidus temperature, undercooling, etc.), and calculate the carbon, silicon content, and carbon equivalent using a built-in mathematical model. No chemical reagents are required, making it environmentally friendly

2. Standard operating procedures

Preparation work: Power on and preheat, confirm that the equipment is functioning properly, and prepare disposable probes and sample cups

Sampling operation: Use a dedicated sampling spoon to remove molten iron from the furnace and pour it into a sample cup (to remove surface floating slag)

Measurement start: Insert the probe into the sample cup of molten iron, and the equipment will automatically start recording the cooling curve

Automatic analysis: The system identifies curve feature points, calculates component data, and completes analysis in approximately 45-60 seconds

Result output: Screen displays data, reports can be printed or exported to a USB drive
