6、 Installation instructions for high-pressure sleeve ball valve
The high-pressure sleeve ball valve has the advantages of simple structure, convenient use, and no need for welding. However, in medium and high-pressure hydraulic systems, improper operation often leads to leakage, which affects their promotion and use. After years of practice, Voto Valve has summarized some experience and achieved good results.
The high-pressure sleeve ball valve is mainly composed of24Joint body with tapered hole1Card sleeve with sharp inner blade2It consists of three parts: the compression nut that plays a clamping role. Tighten the nut3At that time, the card sleeve2Promoted24The cone hole of the degree is deformed accordingly, forming a spherical contact seal between the sleeve and the conical surface inside the joint body; At the same time, the inner edge of the card sleeve is embedded in the steel pipe4The outer wall is pressed with a circular groove to provide a reliable seal. It is best to choose stress relieving annealing for steel pipes20#Fine extraction of the tube is beneficial for embedding the inner edge of the sleeve into the outer surface of the steel pipe, providing a reliable sealing effect.
(1)Pre installed
① The pre installation of high-pressure sleeve ball valves is the most important step, which directly affects the reliability of the seal. Usually, a dedicated pre loader is required. The small diameter sleeve ball valve joint can be pre installed on the vise. The specific method is to use a high-pressure sleeve ball valve joint body as the base, and tighten the nut and sleeve onto the pipe.
② The end face of the pipe should be flush. After sawing the pipe, it should be polished flat on tools such as grinding wheels, and burrs should be removed. It should be cleaned and blown clean with high-pressure air before use.
③ When pre installing, try to maintain the coaxiality between the pipe and the joint body as much as possible. If the pipe deviates too much, it will also cause sealing failure.
④ The pre installation force should not be too high. The inner edge of the card sleeve should be just embedded in the outer wall of the pipe, and the card sleeve should not have significant deformation. When connecting the pipeline, assemble it according to the specified tightening force. φ6-10mmThe tightening force of the card sleeve is64-115N、 φ16mmr 259N、 φ18mmFor450NIf the card sleeve is severely deformed during pre installation, it will lose its sealing function.
(2)Do not add sealant or other fillers. Someone applied sealant on the card sleeve in order to achieve better sealing effect, but the sealant was flushed into the hydraulic system, causing faults such as blockage of the damping holes of hydraulic components.
(3)When connecting pipelines, sufficient deformation allowance should be provided to avoid subjecting the pipes to tensile stress.
(4)When connecting pipelines, avoid subjecting them to lateral forces, as excessive lateral forces can cause poor sealing.
(5)When connecting pipelines, they should be tightened at once to avoid multiple disassembly, otherwise it will also deteriorate the sealing performance.
