7、 Maintenance and repair of manual ball valves

1Before repairing the manual ball valve, release the pressure on the pipeline and fully open the ball valve. After disconnecting the power or gas source, detach the actuator from the bracket.

2Before starting the operation, it is necessary to ensure that the pressure in the upstream and downstream pipelines of the ball valve is relieved.

3The steps and procedures for disassembling and reassembling.

4The cleaning agent should be compatible with the rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts, and working medium in the manual ball valve. When the medium is gas, metal parts can be cleaned with gasoline, while non-metal parts should be cleaned with purified water or alcohol.

5Decomposed parts can be cleaned by immersion washing, while non decomposed parts can be wiped with a clean silk cloth soaked in cleaning agent. Cleaning the toy must remove all grease, dirt, adhesive buildup, dust, etc. adhered to the wall surface.

6Non metallic parts should not be soaked in cleaning agents for a long time after use Avoid expansion and corrosion.

7After cleaning, it can be wiped dry with a new silk cloth. After the wall cleaning agent evaporates completely, assembly can be carried out. At this time, attention should be paid not to leave it for a long time, otherwise it will cause rusting and dust pollution problems.

8After cleaning and drying all parts, lubricate metal materials, rubber parts, and plastic parts with grease. When the medium is gas, for example, special221 grease. Apply a thin layer of lubricating grease on the surface of the seal installation groove, the rubber seal, the sealing surface of the valve stem, and the friction surface.

9During assembly, metal debris, fibers, dust, other impurities, foreign objects, and other contaminants are not allowed to remain on the parts or enter the internal cavity.
