Iron furnace blower

1. Purpose

The iron furnace blower is suitable for various common types of iron furnaces with a capacity of 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, and 50 tons/hour. It can also be used as a blower for various furnaces, forging furnaces, and smelting furnaces.

2. Characteristics

This fan replaces the 8-18-10l high-pressure ventilation fan and Roots blower on the iron furnace, with two outstanding characteristics of energy saving and noise reduction. It is also easy to use and maintain, low in price, and the motor is not easily overloaded. Practice has proved that this series of centrifugal blowers is suitable for most iron furnaces in China and has high economic indicators.

In order to improve the rigidity of the casing, prevent vibration and absorb noise, this series of centrifugal blowers all use cast iron shells. Single row radial ball bearings and sliding bearings with higher maximum speed are selected for each single-stage machine number, and axial air intake is adopted. Single row radial ball bearings and sliding bearings are selected for each machine number of two-stage and multi-stage, with radial air intake. According to the strength requirements, the impeller material is welded with 16Mn or alloy steel plates. The direction of rotation and the position of the inlet and outlet air vents of the blower are counterclockwise when viewed from one end of the motor. The direction of rotation of the impeller can be seen on the directional sign and cannot be reversed for use. Each single-stage unit has a horizontal axial intake, while the inlet and outlet ports of each two-stage and multi-stage unit are vertically upward.
