Jet fan for highway tunnelThrough special design, it can generate large jet power from a given power consumption. Its operating function is based on the principle of shock transmission. During operation, a portion of the total air flow through the tunnel is sucked in by the fan and then ejected at high speed from the outlet. Due to the change in driving force between the ejected airflow and the remaining air, energy is injected into the latter, pushing the air inside the tunnel towards the outlet end and inhaling fresh air from the inlet. The concentration of carbon monoxide and turbid air increases from the inlet point and reaches the maximum value at the outlet, which is the design value. The installation of fans within the tunnel cross-section does not occupy traffic area, does not require special ventilation buildings, is easy to install, and has low civil construction costs.

When the electric fan is turned on, the interlock inlet valve of the debugging electric fan should be opened according to the debugging regulations of the tunnel jet fan, and other related inlet valves should be set to relative conditions. For the first start-up, start the lighting mode from the local control cabinet. Press the power button and then immediately press the stop button to check if the sound of the fan turning on and vibrating is normal. Press and hold the stop button until the air pressure drops, open the brake chamber door to check the brake of the electric fan, and ensure that there are no abnormal phenomena such as friction between the rotating part of the electric fan and the rolling bearings, which can fully start.
