L106Drip sensing rain sensor adopts a new drop sensing design concept, and its internal structure is designed with a special structure to accurately control the size of raindrops,Then use the principle of optical induction to count raindrops,Thus measuring the magnitude of rainfall.

Experimental testing methods


If the customer wants to verify the accuracy of the sensor through a simple method, they can operate it as follows: wet the product's water receiving port, then turn on the power, and pour in no more than 11.3ml of water evenly within 1 minute, and the water needs to be dripped in droplets, because when the maximum rainfall intensity exceeds 4mm/At min, the measurement data may not be accurate. (4mm/min range according to national standards).

Calculation method:For example, if 2ML of water is slowly poured into the device within 1 minute, the current rainfall intensity calculation method is RS=2000/(30 * 30 * 3.14) mm.

Note: 2ml of water equals 2000 cubic millimeters of water, and the radius of the rainwater outlet is 30mm.

Precautions


1. Please check if the packaging is intact and verify if the product model matches the selected one; Do not connect live wires. Only after the wiring is checked and confirmed to be correct, can the power be turned on;

2. The length of the sensor wire will affect the output signal of the product,Do not arbitrarily modify the components or wires that have been welded before leaving the factory when using the productIf there are any change requirements, please contact the manufacturer

3. Sensors should be regularly inspected to remove dust, mud, leaves, and insects to avoid blocking the water flow channel of the upper tube (funnel),Long term work usually requires cleaning once a month, and cleaning must be done once every three months

4. If there is dirt on the inner wall of the tipping bucket, it can be washed with water or detergent solution. It is strictly prohibited to wipe with fingers or other objects to avoid oil stains or scratches on the inner wall;

5. During the winter icing period, the instrument should be stopped from use and can be retrieved indoors;
