Under artificial high gravity centrifugation, cells will experience stress reactions, making the final data unreliable. Laminar flow cleaning can achieve higher dilution levels for binding antibodies by increasing the number of cycles, but the treatment experienced by cells is gentler. Centrifugation can lead to the disappearance of differences between cell populations, and the fewer variables and operations cells undergo, the higher the quality of flow cytometry data
