The automatic lime milk dosing device is a new type of dosing equipment in the environmental protection industry today. It fully embodies the characteristics of the equipment: simple operation, 24-hour continuous operation, PLC automatic control, stable dosing, greatly reducing human resources. It has a wide range of applications in the market and is widely used for desulfurization in power plants and pH neutralization regulation of acidic wastewater in the chemical industry. The raw materials for preparing lime milk include quicklime [Ca0] and hydrated lime, also known as hydrated lime [Ca (OH) 2].

There is a lime powder storage tank in this system device. Lime powder is fed by a special sealed tanker truck for bulk powder, and the powder is stored in a silo. After being matched with the system equipment, the automatic control reaches the required ratio concentration [concentration of 5% -10%], and is automatically added by frequency conversion.

2、 Equipment Introduction and Working Principle


This system device consists of: lime powder storage tank, warehouse top dust collector, fixed feeding device, screw conveyor, lime powder dissolution tank, slag removal filter, lime milk transfer pump, lime milk configuration tank, lime milk frequency conversion feeding pump, PLC electric control system, instruments and meters, equipment connecting pipe valves, etc.


The automatic lime milk feeding device sends lime powder into the lime powder storage tank through a material transport vehicle, which is equipped with a feeding port. The powder storage tank is equipped with high, medium, and low level gauges. When there is a high-level alarm, it indicates that the powder tank is full of raw materials. When the median alarm is triggered, it indicates that the powder in the powder tank is insufficient and prompts the staff to replenish the feed. When the low level alarm is triggered, it indicates that the powder tank is out of stock, indicating that the system device is in a shutdown state. When feeding, start the vibration motor of the dust removal device on the top of the tank first, because dust will be generated when the powder enters the warehouse, which will affect and inconvenience the surrounding environment and the physical and mental health of the operators. Therefore, a warehouse top dust collector is used in this device to collect and remove dust. The dust adsorbed on the surface of the filter bag is oscillated by an electric vibrator and falls into the powder bin. After a delay of some time, turn off the vibration motor of the dust removal device, and the feeding process ends. The stored lime powder is loosely and evenly fed to the quantitative feeding device through the oscillator, and a certain amount of lime powder is conveyed to the lime milk dissolving tank through the screw conveyor. At the same time, a certain amount of tap water is fed into the tank, and lotion (concentration of 5% -10%) is produced by mixing in the mixer. The proportioned lotion is then conveyed to the lime milk preparation tank through the lime milk transfer pump, and the net lotion is fed to the dosing point through one standby and one operating lime milk variable frequency feeding pump. This system is equipped with automatic cleaning function and slag removal filter.
