Manufacturer of deodorization equipment for aquaculture wastewater
The main source of odor in aquaculture farms comes from sewage treatment structures and sludge treatment structures. During the sewage treatment stage, sewage is transported through long-distance pipelines and enters structures such as pump stations, coarse and fine grids. Due to the intense turbulence of the water flow, odorous gases often escape from the sewage. These gases contain H2S, NH3, etc., making them a source of odor. When sewage enters the sedimentation unit, foul odors will also be generated at turbulent water flow points such as the inlet and outlet corridors of the primary sedimentation tank. Due to the relatively stable water flow in the primary sedimentation tank, there is only a small amount of foul odor discharge. However, sewage treatment plants often operate below the design flow rate, and the prolonged residence time of sewage in the primary sedimentation tank leads to the production of sulfides, which affects other treatment units. The aeration process of biochemical treatment units is often accompanied by odor problems. Although the intensity of odor generated in this stage is weaker than the previous two stages, if the aeration is insufficient and the flow rate is too high, anaerobic zones will appear, producing odor gases such as H2S, NH2, acetic acid, thiols, etc.
In the sludge treatment stage, due to the high concentration of pollutants in the sludge, the intensity of the odor generated is also very high. When conducting sludge concentration and dewatering treatment, the use of pressure filtration and chemical flocculants may cause turbulence and release odorous gases, especially when using belt filter presses and gravity filter presses. If sludge composting is carried out later, a large amount of inorganic sulfides, agricultural production system sulfides, ammonia and other gases will be released in the initial 1-5 days.
Manufacturer of deodorization equipment for aquaculture wastewaterDeodorization method:
1. Physical processing methods
The effect of physical methods in treating sewage is not particularly ideal, but it is worth learning from for small-scale aquaculture partners. It is mainly a treatment method that can be used to filter or precipitate sewage and filter out suspended solids in sewage through septic tanks and filter screens. Its drawback is that there are still many residual pollutants that need further treatment in the later stage, otherwise it will not meet the standards.
2. Chemical treatment methods
The chemical treatment method is mainly a chemical drug developed based on the composition of pollutants in sewage, which is used to dissolve substances or solidify pollutants. The most common method is to use chlorides for water disinfection, such as pouring ferric chloride into wastewater to condense impurities and achieve the goal of purifying water quality. The degree of sewage it treats is much higher than that of physical treatment methods, but it may also produce other pollutants, and the cost is much higher than that of physical treatment methods.
3. Biological treatment methods
The method of biological treatment of sewage is environmentally friendly and the most cost-effective. It actually uses microorganisms to decompose pollutants in sewage to purify water quality. Although sewage already contains microorganisms, their activity has basically disappeared after pollution, so we need to introduce microorganisms.
