The Gongbo brand CWZ marine self-priming centrifugal pump is suitable for cooling seawater or fresh water on ships, firefighting, bottom ballast, domestic water, and other drainage. The temperature of the conveyed liquid shall not exceed 75 ℃.

The working principle of marine self-priming centrifugal pumps mainly lies in their construction and design, which allows for automatic extraction of gas from the suction pipe without the need for pumping during start-up, thereby ensuring normal liquid transportation. This pump is equipped with a suction chamber at the inlet, and the suction pipe is located above the centerline of the impeller. After the pump stops, a portion of the liquid remains in the suction chamber. When the pump is restarted, the liquid remaining in the suction chamber circulates inside the pump, sucking the gas in the suction pipeline into the impeller. Inside the impeller or at the impeller outlet, gas and liquid are mixed and enter the additional gas-liquid separation chamber to separate the gas and liquid. The gas is discharged outside the pump, and the liquid flows back to the suction chamber until the suction pipe is filled with liquid, achieving normal liquid transportation. The self-priming process can be completed within a few seconds, with a self-priming capacity of over 9m water column.
The basic structure of a marine self-priming centrifugal pump consists of six parts: impeller, pump body, pump shaft, bearings, sealing ring, and packing box. The impeller is the core part of the pump, with the characteristics of high speed and high output. The blades on it need to undergo static balance tests before assembly to ensure smooth inner and outer surfaces and reduce water flow friction losses. The pump body, also known as the pump casing, is the main body of the water pump, which plays a supporting and fixing role and is connected to the bearings on the bracket. The pump shaft is connected to the motor through a coupling, transmitting the torque of the motor to the impeller, and is the main component for transmitting mechanical energy. The bearing sleeve is installed on the pump shaft to provide support, and is divided into two types: rolling bearings and sliding bearings. The sealing ring adjusts the gap between the impeller inlet and the pump casing to maintain a suitable sealing gap. The stuffing box seals the gap between the pump casing and the pump shaft to prevent water flow from leaking out and air from entering, maintaining a vacuum state inside the water pump.
