1、 Working principle
A filter tank is a device that uses one or several filtering media to pass the raw liquid through the medium under a certain pressure, removing impurities and achieving the purpose of filtration. The fillers inside are generally quartz sand, anthracite, granular porous ceramics, activated carbon, etc. Users can choose to use them according to their actual situation.
The filter tank is one of the traditional water treatment methods that mainly uses fillers to reduce turbidity in water, intercept suspended solids, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, chlorine odors, and some heavy metal ions in the water, and purify the water supply.
2、 Application scope
Mechanical filtration is widely used in water treatment processes, mainly for turbidity removal in water treatment, reverse osmosis, and pre-treatment of ion exchange softening desalination systems. It can also be used for sediment removal in surface water and groundwater. The inlet turbidity requirement is less than 20 degrees, and the outlet turbidity can reach below 3 degrees.

The manual type mainly controls the operation, forward washing, and backwashing of the filter through valve adjustment; The fully automatic type uses FLECK controller to control the operation of the filter, including forward and reverse washing. According to the tank material, it can be divided into fiberglass tanks, carbon steel tanks, and stainless steel tanks. The inner wall of the tank can be coated with epoxy coating or lined with adhesive for corrosion prevention according to user requirements.
