Overview

The metal separation equipment for household waste is a series of processes including shovel, conveying, unpacking and crushing air separator, shaftless rolling screen, magnetic vortex separator, air separator, dust collection and gas treatment. Separate copper, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, iron and magnetic materials, plastic and rubber, stainless steel, heavy sand and gravel, organic matter and debris, and large clothing from the raw materials. The purity can reach about 98%. This process is fully automated from feeding to sorting, with a daily processing capacity of 300-500 tons, requiring only 3-5 people to operate. The entire equipment does not require fire, chemical raw materials, or water.

Household waste is transported to the household waste sorting line, where it is efficiently sorted by mechanical processes such as fabric, sorting, magnetic separation, selection, drum sorting, air sorting, and impurity removal. It is then classified into four categories and processed according to the characteristics of each material.

Among them, the first category is recyclable materials (metals and high-quality plastics) that can be directly recycled for high-value use. The second type is organic biomass (mainly kitchen waste), which can be anaerobically fermented to obtain bio natural gas. The third type is combustible materials (fabrics, paper and plastic, bamboo and wood), which can be used as fuel. The fourth category is inorganic substances (such as soil, sand, and glass), which can be used for building materials or harmless landfill.

At present, there are two main types of domestic waste treatment processes - sorting and incineration (incineration has low recycling and less application, which will be introduced in the following text)
