Adopting dual channels, one channel collects HONO and interfering substances, while the other channel collects HONO+interfering substances+HNO3. The atmospheric nitric acid online analyzer uses cadmium reduction method to reduce nitrate ions to nitrite ions. The nitrite obtained from the two routes reacts with sulfonamide to form a diazonium salt solution, which is then mixed with a dye solution of naphthylethylenediamine hydrochloride to form an azo dye. Azo dyes pass through a long path absorption tube to obtain the concentration of nitric acid by measuring the absorbance of specific wavelengths of light.
