Open channel ultraviolet module for sewage treatmentThe core function is to use ultraviolet light (especially UVC band, 253.7nm wavelength) to destroy the DNA or RNA structure of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms in water, causing them to lose their reproductive ability, thereby achieving efficient disinfection. It is commonly used in the treatment of wastewater, drinking water, recycled water, and industrial water in sewage treatment plants. It is a physical disinfection method that has significant advantages such as no chemical residues, safety and environmental protection, no change in the physical and chemical properties of water quality, and no harmful by-products.
Open channel ultraviolet module for sewage treatmentIt is a device that uses ultraviolet radiation to destroy the DNA/RNA structure of microorganisms for sterilization. It is suitable for microbial populations such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc. that are sensitive to the destructive power of ultraviolet technology. It is mainly used for the treatment of urban sewage treatment plant effluent, recycled water, and industrial wastewater, and complies with standards including GB/T19837-2005. Its core parameters include processing capacity and ultraviolet intensity. The equipment is divided into open channel and tube types, equipped with low-pressure lamps (30W~40W), low-pressure high-strength lamps (100W), and medium pressure lamp systems (420W or above), suitable for different scale processing scenarios. The lifespan requirement for UV lamps is that low-voltage lamps should not be less than 12000 hours.
The device adopts a 200-280nm sterilization band (254nm is good), equipped with IP68 protection level, and can operate continuously for 24 hours. It needs to be used in conjunction with a water level controller, and maintenance is required when the concentration of suspended solids in the effluent exceeds 20mg/L.
Ultraviolet disinfection technology is listed as the research direction of the Action Plan for High Quality Development of Environmental Protection Equipment Manufacturing Industry (2022-2025) because it requires no chemicals and no secondary pollution, and is applicable to drinking water, food processing, cold chain logistics disinfection and sterilization and other scenarios.
Effective dose index of equipment ultraviolet radiation - sewage disinfection
To ensure compliance with the second level and first level hygiene standards of GB18918 "Pollutant Discharge Standards for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants", the suspended solids (SS) in water should not exceed 20mg/L. At the peak flow rate and the end of the UV lamp's operating life, the effective UV dose that can be achieved by the UV disinfection equipment considering the scaling effect of the UV lamp sleeve should not be less than 15mJ/cm.
To ensure compliance with the Class A standard of hygiene indicators required by GB18918 "Pollutant Discharge Standards for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants", when SS does not exceed 10mg/L, the effective dose of ultraviolet radiation that can be achieved by the ultraviolet disinfection equipment considering the scaling effect of the ultraviolet lamp sleeve at the peak flow rate and the end of the ultraviolet lamp operating life should not be less than 20mJ/cm.
