Product Structure:

The plate and frame oil filter is composed of components such as a filter bed, oil pump motor, and coarse filter.

The filter bed is composed of multiple layers of filter plates and filter frames, with filter paper or filter cloth lining between the filter plates and filter frames as the filtering medium, and filtered by the pressure of the compression device.

The filter plate and filter frame are fixed to form a separate filtering chamber, and the filter paper or filter cloth compressed between the filter plate and filter frame plays a filtering role.

Product principle:

Polluted oil is filtered through an oil suction filter, and under the pressure of the oil transfer pump, the oil passes through a filtering medium (filter paper or filter cloth), effectively intercepting impurities in the oil. When the impurities on the filter paper accumulate and become thicker, causing blockage of the filter holes, the oil delivery pressure will increase, and it is recommended to replace the filter paper when the rated pressure is reached.

Principle of water removal and filtration: The filter paper of the plate and frame oil filter must be dry degreased cotton fiber paper. This material not only has good oil filtration permeability, but also has water absorption. Micro water in the oil can be absorbed by the filter paper while passing through impurity removal filtration.

The water removal of the plate and frame oil filter relies on the water absorption of the oil filter paper, and the dehydration effect is limited. For oil products with high water content, it is recommended to choose our company's vacuum oil filter products.

Using filter paper for filtration, the operating cost is low. Although traditional, it is a very economical and effective filtering device.

Different precision oil filter papers can be selected according to the requirements to achieve the filtering effect. If the oil viscosity is high and you don't want to consume too much filter material, choose coarse precision filter paper. If high precision is required for oil filtration, slow filter paper should be selected to improve the quality of the oil.

Matching and selecting equipment:Oil filter paper oven: Newly purchased filter paper is baked in an electric oven before use. The filtering effect is good and the filter paper is more durable. Used and less heavily polluted filter paper can be dried in an electric oven for future use.
Machine operating procedures
Before operation, carefully clamp the punched filter paper between each filter plate and frame. The number of filter papers in each layer is generally 2-3, depending on the filtering requirements and the quality of the filter paper. When clamping the filter paper, the two oil holes on the filter paper must be consistent with the oil holes on the filter plate and frame, and should not be offset to cause leakage and affect the filtering effect.
Filter paper should be dried before use, with a drying temperature of around 120 ℃.
When using used filter paper, it must be dried and free of any damage. Note that the side with filter residue (but dirty) should be placed facing the filter frame, not the filter plate, to prevent the filter residue from being washed away during filtration and contaminating the filtered oil.
When the filtration pressure is high and the filter paper breaks, a filter cloth can be lined on the side close to the filter plate to increase the strength of the filter paper.
After placing the filter paper, turn the handwheel to press the filter plate tightly. When pressing the filter plate, only one person is allowed, and the pressing handle cannot be extended for pressing to avoid damaging the machine.
Close the sampling nozzle. If the user has a valve on the oil discharge pipeline, the valve should be unscrewed.
Connect the power supply of the electric motor to make the oil filter work. The normal working pressure of an oil filter varies with the viscosity of the filtered oil and the resistance of the discharge pipeline, generally within the range of 0.05-0.3Mpa. The initial pressure for filtration is low, and as the filtration time increases, the filter residue and filter paper absorb more water, causing the pressure to gradually increase. When it reaches a certain level (depending on the user's requirements for oil), the filter paper should be replaced.
After filtering, release the clamping device, take out the filter paper piece by piece, clean the filter paper and filter residue inside the filter frame, replace the filter paper and re clamp it tightly, and cover the oil tank.
*After cleaning the coarse filter, cover and tighten the bolts again, and use them again next time.
Maintenance and safety techniques for oil filters
1. Keep the machine clean regularly.
2. The ears of the filter plate and frame are relatively fragile, so they should be handled gently when using.
3. When pushing the oil filter, the speed should not be too fast to avoid damaging the equipment due to strong impact on the machine.
4. Lubricating oil should be added regularly on the tightening screw nut.
5. When using an oil filter, the motor casing should be electrically grounded to prevent accidents caused by poor motor insulation.
6. When opening the upper and rear boxes, do not apply too much force to avoid damaging the parts.
7. The connecting bolts between the motor and the bracket should be checked regularly to prevent loosening.
8. If insufficient oil filtration is found, the following 5 aspects can be checked:

(1) Are there any air leaks in the suction pipe, coarse filter, oil sample valve, return pipe, and joints.
(2) The suction pipeline is too long (generally not exceeding 5 meters) or the diameter does not meet the regulations.
(3) Is the oil inlet pipe and coarse filter mesh blocked.
(4) Is there any other accessory installed in the suction pipe that causes excessive resistance.
(5) Whether the gear pump and safety valve are loose or not tight.
9. The pressure controller is set to 0.35Mpa at the factory, and the equipment will automatically shut down when the pressure reaches 0.35Mpa;
