This can provide many edges for the flow, collection, and dispersion of the liquid in the lower layer. Not only can the surface of the packing be well wetted, but it can also form many micro bubbles in the liquid, which can promote the surface renewal of the liquid and facilitate mass transfer between the gas-liquid phase.
