MagInspectPermanent magnet magnetic analyzer
MagInspect is an economical and efficient instrument used to measure the hysteresis curve of hard magnetic materials, with an accuracy close to that of permanent magnet diagrams.
Specially suitable for detecting permanent magnetic materials, such as aluminum nickel cobalt/ferrite/samarium cobalt or neodymium magnetic materials.
MagInspect can replace EternalmagnetDetermine the magnetic properties of the material using a diagram.
MagInspect is an affordable and easy-to-use testing instrument that can record magnetization and demagnetization curves using pulse methods.
The control unit and external pulse probe are equipped with innovative measurement electronics.
A particular advantage is that the geometric shape of the object being measured is largely free - when using a graph for measurement, special magnet geometries are required.

Record the hysteresis curve in magnet production
Coercivity (Ihc): The magnetic field strength required to reduce the magnetization of a material to zero
Residual magnetization (Br): The residual magnetization that remains in the material after removing the external magnetic field
Saturation magnetization (Ms): The achievable magnetization of a material
Hysteresis curve: a curve representing the relationship between magnetic field strength and magnetization strength

The pulse measurement probe has a built-in Hall probe and newly developed measurement electronic components, which can use a 16 bit A/D converter to accurately record the measurement values of the Hall probe in a range of up to 10 KHz. At the same time, install magnetizing and demagnetizing point coils to generate magnetizing and demagnetizing pulses. The control unit generates individual magnetization or demagnetization pulses, while the measurement electronics of the probe record the peak magnetic field strength (H value) and magnetic flux value (B value) of the magnetic material.
The entire measurement sequence is automated, generating 10-13 pulses for the magnetization and demagnetization processes. Magnetic materials can be selected in the control unit to use the correct magnetization and demagnetization parameters.
The controller gradually generates hysteresis curves based on various H and B values, which are displayed on a color screen. The coercive force Ihc and remanence Br are the results of the hysteresis curve.
At the end of the process, the values can be transferred to Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel provides DataStreamer import function, which can directly transfer data from the controller. The mathematical spline function is implemented in Excel macros to calculate and display accurate hysteresis curves.

MagInspect also provides a quick method for comparing the Hc values of materials for quality control in mass production.
Quick methods can be used to manually trigger fixed magnetization and demagnetization pulses that match magnetic materials; Therefore, the values of Ihc and Br are directly displayed on the control unit.

Advantages of MagInspect compared to Permagraph
The pulse method achieves very high field strength by saturating the material with small probes.
There is no need to equip complex external magnetizing yokes with special magnetic pole inserts for different magnet geometries.
The pulse method does not require compensation coils to determine the B value of magnetic materials, as each pulse decays and there is no excitation field during B measurement.
The small pulse probe is largely independent of the geometric shape of the magnet; For example, external magnets on the rotor can be measured.
MagInspect is much cheaper than permanent magnet diagrams.
