Structure: A star shaped filter cartridge formed by folding a certain length of rigid filter material into pleats and bonding the ends together. It has no cage bones and is easy to install.

Classification: There are many varieties, divided into thin and long and thick and short. A slender filter cartridge (such as @ ≤ 160, L=1-2m) with large gaps and angles between pleats, few and shallow pleats, and a filtration area 2-5 times larger than filter bags of the same diameter and length. It is easy to clean and has good dust removal effect, suitable for filtering and dust removal of dust with a concentration>15g/m, with a filtration wind speed of 0.6-1.2m/min; Coarse and short filter cartridges (such as φ 350, L=0.66m) have a large diameter, short length, multiple pleats (120-350 pleats), deep pleats, and small gaps between pleats, resulting in a large filtration area. Compared with filter bags of the same diameter and length, the filtration area is 14-35 times larger. They are suitable for placement in places with small site areas and spaces. However, due to the small pleat angle, dust is prone to accumulate and difficult to clean. They are suitable for filtering and dust removal of dust with a concentration of ≤ 5g/m, and the filtration wind speed should not be greater than 0.6m/min

Working principle of filter element
