The ZSHO-16K pneumatic quick cut-off ball valve consists of an O-shaped ball valve body and a cylinder actuator. The cut-off ball valve structure is assembled from a valve body, a valve cover, and a ball core. The ball core is connected by a valve stem, and the axis can be rotated 90 degrees to achieve opening and closing. It is mainly used for pipeline switching, emergency cut-off, and can also be designed with a V-shaped core to achieve flow regulation function. It is currently an important control link for pipeline adjustment and cut-off regulation.

1、 Product Introduction:

ZSHO-16KPneumatic quick cut-off ball valveIt is an actuator product in pneumatic unit combination instruments, generally used in combination with pneumatic components such as solenoid valves. A rotary valve with a 90 ° angle. Equipped with a gear rack actuator, it has excellent sealing performance, large flow force, small flow resistance coefficient, simple structure, and large output torque. There are two types of ball valves: single acting and double acting. The advantage of single acting is that once the power source fails, the ball valve will automatically be in the open or closed position according to the requirements of the control system. The product is widely used in control fields such as chemical, petroleum, textile, power, food and pharmaceutical, refrigeration, aerospace, papermaking, water supply and drainage.

There are two types of valve body sealing structures: soft seal valve seats and all metal valve seats, which are used for normal temperature (-40~180 ℃) and high temperature (-60~450 ℃) applications, respectively. Pneumatic O-type ball valves are widely used in the cutting or opening of media in gas and liquid transportation pipelines in production departments such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, textile, papermaking, and sewage treatment, in order to achieve the production process following a certain procedure.

ZSHO-16KPneumatic quick cut-off ball valveIt mainly consists of a pneumatic piston actuator, a cut-off ball valve, and two parts. According to user needs, a handwheel mechanism can also be configured between the actuator and the shut-off valve, as shown in Figure 1.

When the pneumatic actuator receives a signal from the regulating instrument, it drives the valve stem and ball core to rotate, causing the valve to move from the open (closed) position to the closed (open) position, achieving control over the flow and cutting off of the medium in the pipeline.

2、 Characteristics:

The valve body is of integral structure and does not have a lower valve cover (only a bottom sealing gasket is provided). The valve core is equipped with upper and lower sleeve guides for stable operation; The valve seat is tightly attached to the valve core by a threaded sleeve, and the clamping force and relative position with the valve core can be adjusted to ensure a tight fit between the valve seat and the valve core, reducing leakage; The surface of the valve core is ground and partially or completely welded with Stellite alloy to increase surface hardness and improve service life; The valve seat is made of two different materials, which can adapt to the needs of different temperature ranges.

The advantages of using a two-piece high platform ball valve as a whole are:

1. The lower end of the valve stem is designed with an integral shoulder to prevent it from flying out while also preventing valve stem leakage.

2. The anti-static feature ensures that the current between the ball core, valve stem, and valve body is guided outward, effectively avoiding safety hazards caused by static electricity.

3. The O-ring on the valve stem has a good self sealing effect, effectively sealing the medium inside the valve chamber.

4. To prevent accidental valve misoperation, a limit device is specially designed.

5. Considering the possibility of leakage due to aging of sealing materials or the exacerbation of fire in factory fires, a fire-resistant metal seal design is installed inside the valve body. To prevent the possibility of external leakage exacerbating the fire compared to internal leakage, flexible graphite fillers and gaskets can be selected, which have excellent flame retardant properties.

6. The surface of the valve stem and packing box, on the valve stem/V-shaped packing, valve stem/pressure ring; The sealing surface of the valve stem/body is precision machined and assembled to achieve zero leakage effect.

7. Use disc spring compensation to adapt to load changes on the packing ring of the sealing cover, thereby reducing the need to re press the sealing cover in low leakage applications.

1. Floating ball valve

floating ball valveThe sphere is floating, and under the pressure of the medium, the sphere can produce a certain displacement and press tightly against the sealing surface at the outlet end, ensuring the sealing of the outlet end. The structure of the floating pneumatic ball valve is simple and has good sealing performance, but the ball bears all the load of the working medium and is transmitted to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it is necessary to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. This structure is widely used for medium and low pressure ball valves.

2. Fixed ball valve

Fixed Ball ValveThe sphere is fixed and does not move when compressed. Fixed ball valves are equipped with floating seats, which move when subjected to medium pressure, causing the sealing ring to press tightly against the ball to ensure sealing. Usually, bearings are installed on the upper and lower shafts of the sphere, with a small operating torque, suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter valves. In order to reduce the operating torque of pneumatic ball valves and increase the reliability of sealing, oil sealed ball valves have emerged in recent years. They inject special lubricating oil between the sealing surfaces to form an oil film, which enhances sealing performance and reduces operating torque, making them more suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter ball valves.

3. Elastic ball valve

The ball of an elastic ball valve is elastic. The ball and valve seat sealing ring are both made of metal materials, and the sealing pressure ratio is very high. Relying on the pressure of the medium itself cannot meet the sealing requirements, and external force must be applied. This type of valve is suitable for high temperature and high pressure media. An elastic sphere is obtained by creating an elastic groove at the lower end of its inner wall. When closing the channel, use the wedge-shaped head of the valve stem to expand the ball and press it against the valve seat to achieve sealing. Release the wedge-shaped head before rotating the sphere, and the sphere will return to its original shape, creating a small gap between the sphere and the valve seat, which can reduce friction and operating torque on the sealing surface. Pneumatic ball valves can be divided into straight through, three-way, and right angle types according to their channel positions. The latter two types of ball valves are used for distributing media and changing the flow direction of media.

8、 Maintenance of Pneumatic Quick Cut Off Valve:

Pneumatic cut-off ball valve is an opening and closing device that operates the valve through compressed air. It not only has a fast opening and closing speed, but also only requires one air source, saving a lot of human resources and time. It does not require on-site operation or manual operation at high altitude or danger for remote centralized control, greatly improving and ensuring the safety of use. Therefore, it is widely used in the industrial field, with large usage and fast consumption. In order to ensure the service life of pneumatic ball valves, daily maintenance is necessary.

1. Pneumatic ball valves and other valves should be placed in a well ventilated and dry chamber to prevent debris from entering and causing wear. Both ends of the valve should be blocked. Note: Before using a pneumatic ball valve, the iron filings and other debris inside the valve body should be cleaned with clean water.

2. If the pneumatic ball valve cannot be used immediately and has been stored for a long time, it needs to be regularly inspected and cleaned. After cleaning, it should be coated with rust proof oil. As for the cleaning medium, it usually only needs to be cleaned with clean water. It should be noted that when explaining the harmful effects of cleaning on health, one must first understand its characteristics and then choose the corresponding cleaning method. It is also necessary to regularly remove the valve sealing material. Avoid leakage and wear during use.

3. After the installation of the pneumatic ball valve, it is also necessary to regularly check whether it is working properly, whether the valve switch is flexible, and check its aging degree. The main inspection items include: (1) wear of the sealing surface of the pneumatic valve; (2) The trapezoidal thread of the valve stem and valve stem nut is worn; (3) Whether the filler has expired or become ineffective, and if so, it should be replaced in a timely manner; (4) After the valve overhaul and assembly, the sealing performance of the valve should be tested.

4. At the same time, to ensure the normal operation of the pneumatic ball valve, lubricating oil should be regularly injected into the ball valve. When injecting oil, not only should attention be paid to the amount of oil injected, because if the amount of oil injected is too much, it will not be good if it is too little; Attention should also be paid to the quality of oil injection, as poor oil injection not only fails to maintain the valve, but can also cause damage to the valve; And also pay attention to the issue of pressure. If the oil injection volume is too large, the oil injection port is easily blocked, and if the pressure is too low, it will cause sealing or failure.
