Pneumatic MOC valve seat, high temperature resistant soft seal bottom valve
Ball valve is a widely used mechanical product in all valve markets, mainly composed of valve body, valve seat, ball body, valve stem, and transmission device. It achieves the function of switching or adjusting by driving the ball core to rotate through the actuator. It is widely used and popular in industries such as chemical engineering, environmental protection, water treatment, urban construction, machinery, and food! There are various types of ball valves, which can be combined into different functional products based on their structural forms, connection methods, pressure levels, and driving forms. However, fundamentally speaking, ball valves can be divided into two categories: full bore ball valves and reduced bore ball valves. Generally speaking, when the inner diameter of the ball valve is less than or equal to 85% of the inner diameter of the ball valve port, it is called a reduced diameter ball valve, while when the inner diameter of the ball valve is greater than 95% of the inner diameter of the ball valve port, it is called a full bore ball valve. So what are the differences between the two in terms of selection or application? 1、 Definition: 1. Full bore ball valves have equal width flow channels, which means that the size of the holes from inflow to outflow is the same. The size cannot be smaller than the standard specified value, which is roughly equivalent to the nominal diameter of the specification. For example, the flow channel diameter of DN50 full bore ball valves also needs to be around 50; 2. The inlet of the reduced diameter ball valve channel is wider than the channel diameter, and the actual channel diameter is approximately one size smaller than this specification. For example, the DN50 reduced diameter ball valve flows to a diameter of about 38, which is roughly equivalent to the DN40 specification. Shrink one specification within DN250, two specifications between 250-600, and depending on the actual situation above 600. 2、 Applicable medium: 1. Full bore ball valves are generally used for conveying viscous and easily slagging media in pipelines. Due to their low fluid resistance, they can be said to have almost no flow resistance, making it convenient for regular wax scraping and blowing devices to pass through. 3. Reduced diameter ball valves are suitable for pipelines that transport gases or media with physical properties similar to water. They are about 30% lighter in weight than full bore ball valves, and their flow resistance is only about 1/7 of that of globe valves with the same diameter. Beneficial for reducing pipeline load and lowering costs. Faden Valve provides you with high-quality productsPneumatic MOC valve seat, high temperature resistant soft seal bottom valve
