Integrated Ultrasonic Level Gauge High Frequency Ultrasonic Level Gauge Ray Directional Propagation Ultrasonic Level Gauge Model: BXS16-BY-410 Ultrasonic waves with a frequency exceeding 20kHz are called ultrasonic waves. Ultrasonic waves are a type of mechanical wave, which is a propagation process of mechanical vibration in elastic media. Its characteristics are high frequency, short wavelength, small diffraction phenomenon, and good directionality, which can become rays and propagate directionally.
Product Details

Ultrasonic waves attenuate very little in liquids and solids, making them highly penetrable. Especially in solids that are opaque to light, ultrasonic waves can penetrate lengths of several tens of meters and will have significant reflections when encountering impurities or interfaces. According to the principle of ultrasonic propagation in a medium, if the pressure, temperature, density, humidity, and other conditions of the medium are constant, the speed of ultrasonic propagation in the medium is a constant. Therefore, when measuring the time required for ultrasonic waves to be emitted and reflected by the liquid surface, the distance traveled by the ultrasonic waves can be converted to obtain the data of the liquid level.

Selection of wiring form

Two wire system: The power supply (only DC24V) and signal output (DC4-20mA) of the two wire ultrasonic level gauge share the same circuit, using only two wires, which is a standard transmitter form.

Three wire system: The three wire ultrasonic level gauge is actually a four wire system, with separate power supply (only DC24V) and signal output (DC4-20mA) circuits, each using two wires. When their negative terminals are connected to the same ground, three wires are usually used. Its advantage is that it has a high transmission power.

Four wire system: The power supply (DC24V or AC220V) and signal output (DC4-20mA) circuits are separated, using two wires. Its advantage is that it has a higher transmission power and provides high and low relay outputs, adding new functions.

measurement range

Select the corresponding model of ultrasonic level gauge based on the actual range.

If the liquid being tested fluctuates violently, please choose a model with a range one level larger.

The effective range for measuring solid material level is 1/2 to 2/3 of the liquid level range.

Power supply form

DC24V power supply:

The power supply current capacity provided to the two-wire series should not be less than 30mA.

The power supply current capacity provided to the three wire series should not be less than 60mA.

The power supply current capacity provided to the four wire series should not be less than 80mA.

AC220V power supply:

Only four wire series products can be selected, and the power supply current capacity should not be less than 50mA.

Container installation conditions

Sealed container:

For ranges below 8m, the container should have flange ports of DN65 or above, and there is no requirement for the length of the connecting pipe under the flange.

For 10m and 12m ranges, the container should have flange ports with a diameter of DN80 or above, and the length of the connecting pipe under the flange should be less than 150mm.

For a range of 15m, the container should have a flange with a diameter of DN150 or more, and the length of the connecting pipe under the flange should be less than 150mm.

For measuring ranges of 20m, 30m, and 40m, the container should have flange ports with a diameter of DN200 or more, and the length of the connecting pipe under the flange should be less than 200mm.

For ranges below 8m, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 65mm or more.

For 10m and 12m ranges, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 80mm or more, and the thickness of the installation port should be less than 150mm.

For a range of 15m, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 150mm or more, and the thickness of the installation port should be less than 150mm.

For measuring ranges of 20m, 30m, and 40m, the container should have an installation port with a diameter of 200mm or more, and the thickness of the installation port should be less than 200mm.
