Rotary drumprecision filterAs an efficient and reliable filtration device, it is widely used in the filtration treatment of various liquids. Its excellent filtration effect and stable operating performance make it play an important role in various fields such as industrial production, water treatment, and agricultural irrigation. However, in order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment and extend its service life, regular maintenance and cleaning work is essential.
1、 Maintenance methods
1. Regular inspection
Regular inspections are maintenanceRotary drumprecision filterThe primary task. The main inspection contents include:
Filter status: Check if the filter needs to be replaced and if there are any signs of deformation or damage. The filter screen is the core component of the filter, and its state directly affects the filtration effect. When the impurities intercepted by the filter cannot be washed clean by the backwash pump and accumulate for a period of time, they need to be manually cleaned. If they still cannot be cleaned thoroughly, they need to be replaced.
Sealing element: Check if the sealing element of the filter is intact and free of leaks. The aging or damage of seals can lead to a decrease in filtration efficiency and even affect the normal operation of equipment.
-Bearings and gears: Check the lubrication of components such as bearings and gears, and regularly add lubricants to reduce wear and noise.
2. Keep it clean
Regularly clean the equipment as a whole, such as alkaline washing the drum filter every 4-6 months, and cleaning the sludge accumulation in the slag receiving tank every 6 months. Ensure the cleanliness and integrity of all components during the cleaning process.
3. Prevent overload
Prevent the device from operating beyond the water level and overload, in order to avoid damaging the filter element and transmission components and shortening their service life. Reasonably adjust the operating parameters of the filter according to production needs to ensure that it operates within the rated range.
4. Recording and maintenance records
Record the operation and maintenance records of the filter in order to promptly identify and solve problems. This helps to develop a more scientifically reasonable maintenance plan and improve the operational efficiency of the equipment.

2、 Cleaning methods
1. Mechanical cleaning method (performed during daily inspections)
The mechanical cleaning method mainly uses tools such as scrapers and brushes to remove dirt from the surface of filter media. This method is suitable for situations where the filter medium is relatively hard and not easily damaged. The operation steps are as follows:
1. Turn off the power of the filter and empty the liquid inside the filter.
2. Disassemble the filter and remove the filter screen.
3. Use a scraper or brush to scrape or scrub along the surface of the filter medium to remove attached particles and impurities.
After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water.
5. Reinstall the filter to its original position, restore power, and restore the operation of the filter.
2. Backwash method (automatic backwashing of equipment)
The backwashing method uses high-pressure liquid to backwash the filter screen, washing away particles and impurities attached to the filter screen. The backwash system will automatically operate during device operation, ensuring that the filter can operate stably and autonomously for a long time.
3. Chemical cleaning method (usually performed during shutdown maintenance)
When the accumulated dirt on the filter screen is stubborn, chemical cleaning method can be used. Chemical cleaning method is the use of cleaning agents to react chemically with dirt, thereby dissolving or separating it. The operation steps are as follows:
1. Choose the appropriate cleaning agent and configure the cleaning solution according to the instructions.
2. Manually turn on the drum to rotate and spray the cleaning solution onto the filter screen to ensure full contact between the cleaning solution and the filter screen.
3. Manually turn on high-pressure flushing to clean the filter screen.
After cleaning, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the filter to ensure that it is not damaged or deformed.
It should be noted that chemical cleaning methods may cause certain corrosion or damage to the filter media, so it is necessary to choose suitable cleaning agents and strictly follow the instructions for operation.

3、 Lubrication and maintenance (3 months)
Lubrication components: Regularly lubricate the bearings, gears, and other components of the filter to reduce wear and noise. Ensure sufficient and clean lubricating oil to avoid equipment failures caused by poor lubrication.
Record maintenance: Record the operation and maintenance records of the filter in order to promptly identify and solve problems. This helps track the status and maintenance history of the equipment, providing reference for future maintenance and repairs
4、 Prevent overload and abnormal operation
Avoid overload: Avoid overloading the liquid level filter to prevent damage to the filter screen and shorten its service life. The maximum liquid level required for this equipment shall not exceed 950mm to ensure that the equipment operates within its normal working range.
Pay attention to abnormalities: During operation, observe the operating status and parameter changes of the equipment. If any abnormalities are found, stop the machine in a timely manner for inspection and handling. To avoid larger malfunctions and losses caused by faulty equipment operation.
5、 Other precautions
The maintenance and cleaning of this equipment are key to ensuring its long-term stable operation and extending its service life. By regularly inspecting, maintaining cleanliness, preventing overload, and recording and maintaining records, the operational efficiency and service life of the filter can be effectively improved. At the same time, selecting appropriate cleaning methods based on the nature of the dirt, such as mechanical cleaning, backwashing, and chemical cleaning, can ensure that the filtering effect of the filter is always maintained.
