To prevent excessive NOx production after coal combustion in boilers, which can cause serious environmental pollution, flue gas denitrification treatment should be carried out on the gas after coal combustion.
Principle and characteristics of flue gas denitrification
The denitrification system mainly includes the SCR reactor area, liquid ammonia storage and supply area, and their control system. This system uses selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to remove NOx from flue gas. NH3 and NOx react in the reactor to generate N2 and H2O through the action of a catalyst, without causing secondary pollution and without by-products. The basic chemical reaction equation is as follows:
