Installation and usage suggestions for the hollow shaft magnetic powder clutch with rotating shell:
1. Before formal operation or after device movement, in order to generate smooth torque, it is best to operate uniformly: in the absence of excitation, the driving side should rotate at high speed (below 1800rpm) for about 1 minute, and then set the excitation current at 1/4-1/5 of the rated value. On the one hand, rotate the driving side, and on and off for 5 seconds and 10 seconds respectively, and intermittently excite about 20 times. 2. When fixing the shaft end inserted into the hollow shaft magnetic powder clutch with bolts, in order to avoid abnormal loads on the bearings inside the magnetic powder clutch, please reserve a certain axial clearance on the elastic coupling.
3. It is best to use an elastic coupling to connect the input side and shaft, and at this time, the concentricity, perpendicularity, etc. of each shaft must be controlled within the allowable range of the elastic coupling used.
4. When driving with pulleys, in order to avoid additional loads on the bearings inside the magnetic powder clutch, it is necessary to control the load within the allowable range.
5. In order to avoid the braking of the cooling stator from causing additional impact (i.e. load) on the bearings inside the hollow shaft magnetic powder clutch, it is best to set up additional retaining bracket side holes and clearances, and not tighten them in the axial direction.
