Materials related to the Freon Emission Control Law
On April 1, 2015, the "Law on the Reasonable Use and Appropriate Management of Fluorocarbons" (Freon Emission Control Law) came into effect. Managers (owners, etc.) of Class 1 specific products (including low-temperature storage) must properly manage equipment and fluorocarbons.
The management personnel (users, etc.) of low-temperature storage facilities should keep records of equipment management, inspection, and maintenance implementation. You will be required to conduct a simple inspection to check for any abnormal noise, vibration, oil leakage, cooling condition, etc., without using any tools. (No need to request a specialized contractor.)
A simple inspection should be conducted at least once every three months, and after the inspection, you will be required to write down the detailed information of the inspection in a separate record sheet.
