The PG series steel composite gate is a new generation of water stop gate, which combines the advantages of steel gate and cast iron gate. The gate leaf is welded with Q235 or 16Mn medium plate, and the water stop surface is made of H62 brass or stainless steel, which is precision machined and matched with the cast iron gate frame to achieve the purpose of water stop. The anti-corrosion of the door leaf surface shall be carried out in accordance with the SL105 specification. This gate is easy to install and eliminates the hassle of frequently replacing the waterproof rubber during the operation of the steel gate. 1、 Steel gate

(1) Advantages

Light weight and strong load-bearing capacity: Steel gates are made of steel and have a lighter weight compared to cast iron gates, making them easier to transport and install. At the same time, the high strength of steel enables it to withstand significant water pressure, making it suitable for use in large-scale water conservancy projects or scenarios with high water pressure.

• Impact resistance and stable performance: Steel gates have good impact resistance, able to withstand the impact of water flow and maintain structural stability. Its performance and quality are relatively stable, and it is not prone to deformation and other problems during use, ensuring the normal operation of the gate.

Good water stop performance: Through sealing measures such as rubber water stop, steel gates can achieve a tight water stop effect, effectively preventing water leakage.

Convenient construction and simple maintenance: The manufacturing and installation process of steel gates is relatively simple, and the construction period is relatively short. During maintenance, it is more convenient to replace parts or repair damaged areas, which reduces maintenance costs.

2、 Cast iron gate

Its anti-corrosion performance is good, and after one-time installation and molding, the maintenance cost is relatively low.

Low maintenance cost: Due to its relatively simple structure and strong corrosion resistance, cast iron gates require fewer repairs under normal use, resulting in lower maintenance costs.

• One time installation molding: Cast iron gates are usually cast as a whole, with a simple installation process and one-time installation in place, reducing possible problems in the installation process.

• High self weight: The density of cast iron is high, resulting in a heavier weight for cast iron gates, which increases the difficulty of transportation and installation. At the same time, a larger self weight will also impose higher requirements on the opening and closing equipment, requiring stronger opening and closing forces.

• Not resistant to impact: Cast iron has poor toughness and weak impact resistance, and is prone to damage under water flow impact or external forces.

Relatively poor waterproofing performance: Although cast iron gates also have waterproofing measures, their waterproofing effect is slightly inferior compared to steel gates.

(2) Cast iron gate

Small scale water conservancy projects: such as small irrigation channels, drainage pipelines, etc., cast iron gates have smaller sizes and simple structures, which can meet the needs of these projects.

Strong corrosive water environment: In environments such as sewage and seawater containing corrosive substances, the corrosion resistance of cast iron gates makes them a more suitable choice.

Scenarios with low requirements for waterproofing: In some situations where the waterproofing effect is not particularly strict, cast iron gates can be an economical choice.

• Based on water environment selection: If the water quality in the working environment is highly corrosive, it is recommended to prioritize the use of cast iron gates; If the water quality is good and the anti-corrosion requirements are not high, steel gates are a good choice.

• Consider project scale and water pressure: For large-scale water conservancy projects or scenarios with high water pressure, the bearing capacity and impact resistance of steel gates can better meet the requirements; Small water conservancy projects can consider using cast iron gates.

1、 Preparation before installation

1. Door frame installation

2. Door installation
