JTR-1 typeSoil heat flux sensor
1. Introduction
JTR-1 typeSoil heat flux sensorCan be used to measure the heat flow in building walls and soil.
2. Technical parameters:
① Internal resistance less than 300 Ω
② Environmental temperature: -40-120 ℃
③ Measurement accuracy: less than 5%
④ Measurement range: -500-500 w/m2
⑤ Output signal:-20MV~20mV (Note: The side of the heat flow sensor with words is the front side, and the side without words is the back side)
3. Technical indicators
① Supply voltage: DC 24V;
② Signal output: 4-20mA
③ Signal input: -10 mV~20mV
4. Usage of heat flux sensor
4.1 Soil measurement methods
The board surface should be perpendicular to the direction of heat flow and placed horizontally in the soil layer. The burial depth of sensors is usually 3-10 centimeters from the natural underlying surface, and it should be avoided to directly place them on the soil surface as much as possible, because the natural underlying surface is not a geometric plane, and small surface undulations will make the sensor readings lose representativeness. At the same time, the upper surface of the sensor may also produce radiation errors when in direct contact with air. Usually, a representative section is selected at the observation site, and a shovel is used to dig a profile vertically downwards. The required depth is measured from the soil surface downwards along the profile, and then hollowed out horizontally. The size is just enough to place a heat flow plate, and the upper and lower sides of the sensor can maintain good contact with the soil. The wire is led out along the profile and then backfilled with soil. However, it should be noted that the burial depth of the hot plate should be the distance between its centerline and the soil surface.
4.2 Wall measurement method
Firstly, evenly coat the surface of the heat flow sensor with Vaseline. Then, attach the heat flow sensor coated with Vaseline to the wall surface to ensure close contact between the wall and the heat flow sensor. After a few minutes, wait for the heat flow sensor to adapt to the ambient temperature before starting the measurement.
