Introduction to Soil Moisture Rapid Measuring Instrument:
Used for precise measurement of soil moisture content in fields, to estimate whether the field is lacking in water and when to irrigate.
The soil moisture analyzer is based on the principle of TDR time-domain reflection, and the portable SPTDR300 accurately measures the volumetric moisture content of soil from 0 to 0. The moisture probe length is available in two options: 12cm or 20cm.
The soil moisture analyzer has two modes of LCD display:
1) VWC% soil volumetric moisture content
2) Relative soil content (irrigation management)
Technical parameters of soil moisture analyzer:
Built in data acquisition system: 4096 point standard data storage
RS-232 interface: capable of connecting GPS/DGPS, used for collecting soil moisture information in remote sensing geographic information system research
Power supply: 4 AAA batteries (with a lifespan of 12 months)
Includes software and PC cables
