1、 Working conditions of QDLF2-20 stainless steel multi-stage pump
1. Cold and hot clean, non flammable and non explosive liquids that do not contain solid particles or fibers;
2. Liquid temperature: -15 ℃ to+120 ℃
3. Environmental temperature: High+40 ℃
4. Small inlet pressure: Based on the NPSH curve and a small safety head of 0.5 meters.

Before the pump starts working, it should be confirmed that there is no power supply to the pump and the pump cannot suddenly start. The bearings and shaft seals of the pump do not require maintenance. If the pump is not in use for a long time and needs to be drained, one of the coupling guard plates can be removed, and a few drops of silicone oil can be injected into the shaft between the pump head and the coupling. This can prevent the shaft sealing surface from sticking. When installing the coupling guard, be sure that they are vertically aligned in the recess of the pump head. Electric motors equipped with lubrication nozzles should be lubricated with high-temperature lithium based grease. If the electric motor is used seasonally (for motors that are not used for more than six months a year), it is recommended to clean and lubricate the pump and motor once they are not in use.Frost protectionDuring frost, if the pump is not in use, the water should be drained to prevent damage and cracking. Loosen the exhaust screw on the pump head and remove the drain plug on the base to drain the pump. After the water is drained, the removed components should be reinstalled or properly stored. Pay attention that the discharged liquid will not cause harm to people, or damage to the motor or other components. In hot water systems, special attention should be paid to the risk of burns caused by hot water. Do not tighten the exhaust screw and resend the drain plug until the pump is reused. Before placing the drain plug back on the base, the bypass valve should be rotated out towards the stopper, as shown in Figure 7. Install the drain plug by tightening the large connecting nut under the bypass valve. The reinstallation program is still a reverse program operation for disassembly.

Troubleshooting of vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump

Fault reason
1. The electric motor starts but does not rotate. a) Power outage. b) The fuse is burnt out. c) The starter overload has been disconnected. d) The main contacts inside the starter are not in contact or there is a problem with the coil. e) The fuse in the control circuit is defective. f) There is a problem with the electric motor.
2. As soon as the power is turned on and the starter is overloaded, it will immediately trip off. a) The fuse is burnt out. b) There is an issue with the overload contact of the starter. c) The cable connection is loose or faulty. d) The electric motor unit has defects. e) The pump is mechanically blocked. f) The overload setting is too low.
3. The starter occasionally trips due to overload. a) The overload setting is too low. b) Low voltage during peak hours.
4. The protector has never tripped, but the pump is not running. a) Check 1 a), b), c), and e)
5. The flow rate of the pump is unstable. a) The inlet pressure of the pump is too low. b) The suction pipe/pump is partially blocked by impurities. c) The pump has drawn in air.
6. The pump is running but not producing water. a) The suction pipe/pump is blocked by impurities. b) The base or check valve is blocked in the closed position. c) Leakage of suction pipe. d) There is air inside the suction pipe or pump. e) The direction of rotation of the electric motor is incorrect.
7. Reverse when the pump is turned off. a) The suction pipe is leaking. b) The base or check valve is faulty. c) The base valve is blocked in the open or partially open position. d) The check valve is leaking or blocked in some open positions.
8. Leakage of shaft seal. a) The position of the pump shaft is incorrect. b) The shaft seal is faulty.
9. Noise. a) There is an air phenomenon inside the pump. b) Due to the incorrect position of the inner shaft of pump 1, the pump cannot rotate freely (due to frictional resistance). c) There is resonance at the installation location.
