Spring steel wire can be divided into carbon spring steel wire and alloy spring steel wire according to its chemical composition, and can be divided into oil cooled tension spring steel wire and oil quenched spring steel wire according to its delivery status. The steel wire reheating furnace equipment can process or heat treat carbon spring steel wire appropriately to obtain high tensile strength, sufficient toughness, and good fatigue life. However, the hardenability of carbon steel wire is low, and its resistance to relaxation and corrosion is poor. During the tempering process of the steel wire reheating furnace equipment, carbon steel wire can be tempered with specific alloy elements. The addition of alloy elements can improve the anti relaxation performance of spring steel, enhance its toughness, and increase its hardenability and operating temperature. The main production process of tempered spring steel wire for steel wire reheating furnace equipment includes defense line, anaerobic heating, oil quenching, tempering, water cooling, coating with anti rust oil, wire winding and other processes.

1. Check the semi-finished steel grade, specifications, and surface quality of oil quenched steel wire according to the process requirements for spring steel wire. Unqualified materials will not be put into production; When lifting the steel wire, it should be ensured to be stable and the wire should be laid smoothly. When threading, waste wire should be used as a lead. In order to minimize scaling inside the furnace pipes and at the furnace mouth, it is advisable to avoid using rusty steel wires and to avoid bringing in fine iron wires; We also need to minimize the amount of dirt on the steel wire, so the steel wire needs to go through a cleaning device before entering the furnace.

2. Furnace temperature setting: According to the requirements of the spring steel wire heat treatment process, the steel wire reheating furnace equipment should ensure that there is protective gas in the furnace tube, that is, the outlet of the furnace tube should ignite. In order to minimize scaling at the furnace mouth, it is considered to use slotted steel pipes at the furnace mouth and regularly rotate and remove scale.

3. Oil quenching: When steel wire is tempered with oil in the tempering furnace, the quenching oil should not overflow from the groove, nor enter the furnace body. Pay attention to production safety. When the steel wire exits the oil groove, try to wipe off the oil attached to the steel wire as much as possible. Regularly observe the oil level in the quenching oil tank and add it promptly if it is not sufficient. In order to minimize the entry of quenching oil on the steel wire into the tempering furnace, an oil removal device is added.

4. Tempering: The furnace temperature of the steel wire reheating furnace equipment should be set according to the process requirements. The steel wires should not be staggered in the furnace and should be combed smoothly. At the inlet of the lead pot, due to the residual oil in the steel wires, they may catch fire after a long time. Dry powder fire extinguishing agent can be used to extinguish the fire, and the clumped covering agent should be removed and new one added.

5. Water cooling: After tempering, the steel wire should be cooled with water and any remaining water should be blown dry to prevent rusting.

6: To prevent rusting of steel wires, a thin layer of rust proof oil should be evenly applied to the wires.

7: Wire collection: The wire collection speed should be set according to the process requirements. All waste wires used for threading should be cut off, and the furnace centerline should also be cut off when shutting down due to faults. All electrical connectors during the production process should be cut off. When encountering wire breakage, the unqualified part of the wire diameter should be cut off. Attention should be paid to whether the steel wire is bent or mechanically scratched during wire winding, and the disc shape should be regular; When packaging the steel wire produced in this class, a certain length of tail steel wire should be cut out for testing purposes, and a certain length of tail steel wire should be left for future reference, labeled, and the original records should be kept.
