The coupling can transmit torque proportional to the oil pressure. When the transmitted torque exceeds the predetermined torque value, the coupling slips on the shaft (about a few hundredths of a second), the shear tube is cut off, and the oil pressure will relax within a few thousandths of a second. The lubricating oil sealed between the inner groove and the shaft seal will quickly spread between the shaft and the coupling, just like a sliding bearing. Replace the cutting tube with a new one
