The hydraulic safety coupling is composed of a double-layer sleeve. After injecting high-pressure oil in the middle, the outer sleeve expands and locks with the wheel hub by friction, while the inner sleeve compresses inward and holds coaxially. The coupling can transmit torque proportional to the oil pressure. When the transmitted torque exceeds the predetermined torque value, the coupling slips on the shaft (about a few hundredths of a second), the shear tube is cut off, and the oil pressure will relax within a few thousandths of a second. The lubricating oil sealed between the inner groove and the shaft seal will quickly spread between the shaft and the coupling, just like a sliding bearing. Replace the cutting tube with a new one

Hydraulic safety couplings can be used in conjunction with other transmission components, such as universal couplings, gear couplings, diaphragm couplings, sector block elastic couplings, elastic live pin couplings, and other flexible couplings. They are connected to gears, shafts, etc. to transmit torque and provide safety protection.
