Wastewater is discharged from the cleaning line and collected into the regulating tank, mainly for regulating water quality and quantity. The effluent from the regulating tank is pumped into the reaction tank. Due to the high concentration of metal ions in the wastewater (which can be replenished if they are insufficient), sodium hydroxide is added to the reaction tank and stirred with a mixer to react with hydroxide ions and form insoluble metal hydroxide precipitates. The effluent from the reaction tank enters the flocculation tank, where a certain amount of PAM is added. As the metal hydroxide precipitates into small particles, PAM molecules can form coarse flocs with the metal hydroxide precipitation particles, allowing the flocs to precipitate and be removed. The effluent from the sedimentation tank enters the neutralization tank and is pumped into the self-cleaning filter for treatment.

This filter is composed of parallel combination of filtering units, which are mainly composed of a set of annular reinforced plastic filter discs with grooves or edges. During filtration, sewage enters from the outside, and the rim formed by the edges of the grooves on adjacent filter discs intercepts solid substances in the water; During backwashing, water flows from the inside of the annular filter disc to the outside, washing away the dirt trapped on the filter disc and discharging it through the drain outlet.

The discs are tightly compacted and stacked together within the unit, and the grooves in the middle of the upper and lower layers of discs serve to filter and intercept them. The water from the self-cleaning filter meets the standards for reuse or discharge. The sludge in the sedimentation tank is collected and sent to the sludge concentration tank. It is then lifted by the sludge pump and sent to the sludge dewatering room for concentration and dewatering. The dewatered sludge cake is regularly transported for treatment.
