The YR series (IP44) motor is a general-purpose wound rotor three-phase asynchronous motor, which is the latest updated product designed in China. Its installation size and power level comply with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) rotating motor standards, and the correspondence between installation size and power level is consistent with the West German DIN42679 standard.

This series of motors can provide a large starting torque with a small starting current and can adjust the speed within a certain range. It is widely used in the following situations: (1) requiring a larger starting torque than squirrel cage rotor motors;
(2) The capacity of the power supply line is insufficient to start the squirrel cage rotor motor;
(3) Need for small-scale speed regulation;
(4) Connect to form an "electric shaft" for synchronous transmission. Such as compressors, sugar presses, textile machines, winches, wire drawing machines, conveyors and other machinery.
The enclosure protection level of this series of motors is IP44, which has good protective performance and can be used in dusty environments and general places without flammable, explosive or corrosive gases. In environments with high humidity and slightly corrosive gases, protective structures are also preferred.
