2、 Performance advantages of CPVC flower wreath filling material
CPVC chlorinated polyfloral ring filler material has the following properties:
1) Good weather resistance and corrosion resistance: CPVC is not only resistant to ultraviolet radiation and atmospheric aging, but also to various acid and alkali media at room temperature. Even at 100 ℃, it is still resistant to media such as lactic acid and dilute alkali solution. It can be used as a solvent for amino sulfonic acid, sodium chlorate, sodium silicate, propylene glycol with a concentration greater than 25%, phenol with a concentration of 25%, chromic acid, butyric acid with a concentration of 3%, chloramine, fluorinated amine, etc. The order of chemical corrosion resistance of several plastics is: CPVC ≈ PVC>HDPE>polybutadiene>ABS. It has excellent thermal performance.
2) CPVC, with superior thermal performance, can be used at temperatures 35-40 ℃ higher than PVC resin, and can reach temperatures above 100 ℃. Its Vicat softening temperature increases significantly with the increase of chlorine content, and its heat resistance is higher than other resins, making it an ideal heat-resistant plastic. The thermal deformation temperature order of several plastics is: CPVC>polybutadiene>ABS>HDPE>PVC.
3) Good flame retardancy (up to UL94-V-0, 94-5V), good self extinguishing flame retardancy, and low smoke suppression.
3、 Product Overview
CPVC flower wreath filler, also known as plastic CPVC plum blossom ring or A-shaped plastic Taylor flower wreath, is a filling material formed by winding many circular rings into an ellipsoidal shape. A reinforcing rib is added in the middle to make it in an "A" shape, which greatly improves the compressive strength of the flower wreath (Type A considers the effective area of the overlapping shadows between the original flower wreath fillers to reach 40%, and solves the problem of overlapping parts by using Type A flower wreath filler, which enhances the strength of the circles between the fillers with a "one" support rod). At the same time, this packing material not only has the advantages of high flux and pressure reduction of general packing materials, but also has a high liquid holding capacity at the gaps of the packing material, which can prolong the residence time of the liquid in the tower, thereby increasing the contact time between the gas-liquid phases and improving the mass transfer efficiency of the packing material
The product is mainly used in the ion exchange membrane caustic soda process, which requires the tower packing to have resistance to corrosion from hot alkali, chlorine, and secondary chlor alkali at temperatures above 60-90 ℃. Generally, metal packing and ceramic packing are not resistant to heat alkali corrosion and may cause blockage, resulting in poor separation efficiency of tower equipment and frequent replacement. Ordinary plastic fillers are not resistant to corrosion from chlorine and hypochlorous acid. Most foreign countries use polytetrafluoroethylene and polyvinylidene fluoride plastic fillers, but the material cost is quite expensive and not suitable for injection molding.
4、 Scope of application
CPVC flower wreath filling is suitable for the following scope and media:
(1) CPVC flower garlands are suitable for water washed cooling towers. Media: wet chlorine, wet chlorine; Temperature: ≤ 90 ℃ Pressure: -100~0mmH2O column;
(2) CPVC flower garlands are suitable for pest control towers. Medium: Chlorine; 18-20% caustic soda, secondary; Temperature: ≤ 70 ℃ Pressure: -300~200mmH2O column;
(3) CPVC flower garlands are suitable for dechlorination towers. Media: Wet chlorine water, diluted saline water (containing 190-210g/L); Temperature: ≤ 90 ℃ Pressure: -4200mmH2O column;
(4) CPVC flower garlands are suitable for temperatures below 60 ℃. Medium: Chlorine, concentration of 78%~98%, pressure: -150mmH2O column
