Introduction to Wet Cyclone Dust Collector
Date: 2025-11-21Read: 14
Wet cyclone dust collector is used in coal mine underground and ground industrial workplaces with severe dust hazards, such as underground machine excavation working face, anchor spraying working face, comprehensive mining working face return airway and coal bunker, steel plant, coal washing plant and other mobile and fixed-point dust sources. The dust collector includes wet filtration dust collector 1, fan 2, and cyclone dehydrator 3. The cyclone dehydrator 3 consists of a guide vane 4 and a dehydrator 5. The guide vanes 8 of the guide vane 4 are made of 1-25 pieces, all of which are arc-shaped and welded between the outer cylinder 6 and the guide wheel hub 7, respectively. Their function is to change the wind direction and generate centrifugal force; Dehydration 5 and Dehydration 12 use 1-50 pieces, all in the shape of flat circular plates, welded to the inner wall of the outer cylinder 11 to achieve gas-liquid separation. The dust collector has a small volume and strong applicability in coal mines. It adopts a cyclone dehydrator structure, which improves the dust removal efficiency and dehydration efficiency, reaching 99 and 95 respectively, and effectively improves the labor hygiene conditions in the workplace.
Wet cyclone dust collector (hereinafter referred to as dust collector) is a new generation of dust collector, which has the characteristics of small volume, light weight, compact structure, and simple maintenance. The dust collector adopts axial flow fan, air duct, and wet cyclone dust removal and dehydration device as an organic whole, which greatly reduces the overall size of the machine. Its sound-absorbing structure effectively eliminates the noise generated during the operation of the dust collector and can meet the needs of on-site use.
Dust collectors are mainly used for dust extraction and purification during excavation by tunneling machines, and can also be applied to dust removal at various dust source points underground in coal mines and other locations that require dust extraction and purification. The explosion-proof type of dust collector is the explosion-proof type used in coal mines, with the explosion-proof mark Exd Ⅰ.

Structural features and working principle:
The dust collector mainly consists of three parts: suction washing, impeller body, cyclone dust removal, and diffusion dehydration.
After the dust collector sucks in dusty air through the vacuum hood and suction duct, the fine dust in the dusty air is fully wetted by the action of water mist, and collides and condenses with each other to form a dust water mixture. The dust water mixture is intercepted by the cyclone dust removal and dehydration device to form dust sludge, which enters the diffusion and collection system under the push of air flow and is discharged through the sewage pipeline. The purified clean air is discharged into the tunnel to achieve dust removal and purification of the dusty airflow.
