The nitric oxide detector of Model 410 is designed to measure the concentration distribution of nitric oxide (NO) in the atmosphere.
Range 0-2000 ppb (0-2 parts per million) with a precision of ± 1.5%
ppb。 When used in combination with the 401 nitrogen dioxide converter, nitrogen oxides and nitrogen dioxide (using different methods) can be measured simultaneously. The detection principle of model 410 is based on the selective reaction of nitric oxide and ozone. The measurement of ozone depletion resulting from this is based on the UV absorbance of the method, which only requires rare calibration. Compared to other instruments, nitrogen oxide chemiluminescence instruments require almost continuous calibration using a standard gas.
