1. When installing the fire damper series, attention should be paid to the area around the valve, especially on the side where the valve operating mechanism is located. A space of no less than 350mm should be reserved for regular action tests and inspections.

2. Before installing the valve body, it is necessary to check whether the valve shape and operating mechanism are intact, whether the action is flexible, and confirm that all aspects of the valve are normal before installation.

3. Valves should undergo regular closing action tests before installation or during use after installation, and it is recommended to conduct them every six months to one year. The action test includes using electrical signals to close or manually close the valve, and there should be an electrical output after the valve is activated.

4. The valve body should have separate supports and hangers to avoid deformation of the air duct at high temperatures, which may affect the valve function.

5. The air duct between the valve body and the firewall (or floor) should be made of steel plates with a thickness of δ ≥ 1.6mm, and then insulated with refractory materials outside the air duct.

6. When installing the valve body in the suspended ceiling, an inspection door hole should be provided under the observation and operation mechanism, with a general size of not less than 450 × 450mm. If conditions are limited, the maintenance hole in the suspended ceiling can also be reduced to 400 × 400mm.
