Overview
The TS-1202 (B) acoustic logging tool uses a dual receiver downhole transducer, with a spacing of 30cm between the transmitter and receiver and a spacing of 20cm between the receiver and receiver. Acoustic information is transmitted and received along the wellbore wall in the borehole (a bare hole containing well fluid). During logging, the transducer is lowered to the bottom of the well or placed at the wellhead, and tested up or down according to the distance between logging points. The waveform data collection and storage are completed by a computer, and longitudinal waves are picked up indoors through playback and data processing. The initial arrival time of the longitudinal wave is determined based on the waveform jump point in the waveform collected by the instrument, and the longitudinal wave velocity is calculated.
