1. Shaft seal section:

The packing shaft seal pump needs to be regularly tested for sealing water pressure and water volume, and a small amount of clean water should always be kept flowing along the shaft. The packing gland should be adjusted regularly, and the packing should be checked and replaced regularly. The water pressure and water volume of the shaft seal should meet the requirements of the shaft seal inspection.

2. Impeller section:

In order to ensure efficient operation of the pump, it is necessary to adjust the clearance between the impeller and the front guard plate in a timely manner. When adjusting the clearance between the impeller, the pump should be stopped first, the bolts that press the bearing box should be loosened, and the adjustment nut should be loosened to move the bearing assembly forward. At the same time, the shaft should be rotated in the direction of the pump's rotation by hand until the impeller rubs against the front guard plate. Then, the adjustment bolt should be used to move the rotor backward, and the clearance between the front and rear guard plates of the impeller should be recorded and evenly distributed until the clearance between the impeller and the front and rear guard plates is equal. And tighten the two dust discs and fasten them onto the shaft. After adjustment, it is necessary to recheck whether the impeller rotates normally and whether the bearing component clamping bolts are tightened before starting the pump again.

3. Bearings require lubrication:

When assembling bearing components, if the assembly is correct, the lubricating oil is appropriate, and maintenance is timely, the transportation life will be longer. So maintenance personnel should regularly inspect the bearing components, check the condition of the bearings and lubricating oil, and regularly add or replace lubricating oil during operation, adding lubricating oil reasonably and timely.

4. The standby pump should rotate the shaft 1/4 turn per week to ensure that the bearings are evenly subjected to static loads and external vibrations.
