BURKERT two position three-way servo piston solenoid valve 00041333
0340 is a servo assisted two position three-way piston solenoid valve. To open or close a valve, a minimum pressure difference is required. The pilot valve is a maintenance free, medium isolated two position three-way rotary armature solenoid valve (0331 type). The normally open and normally closed functions of the pilot valve can be easily switched by simply rotating it on the main valve seat. The electromagnetic coil is encapsulated with chemically resistant epoxy resin. The 0340 model is equipped with a manual switch, which can be used for debugging and testing. If there are energy-saving requirements, all coils can be provided with energy-saving or pulse type. The switch status can be displayed in binary or NAMUR signals through position feedback. Paired with DIN EN 17301-803 type A cable plug, the safety protection level of this valve is IP65/67.
Servo assisted piston solenoid valve, diameter DN 40
Adopting rotating armature technology to improve operational safety
Convenient manual switch for use
Energy saving pulse type
The direct acting rocker arm solenoid valve has AC (alternating current), DC (direct current), and UC (universal current) power supply types. And it has Exi (intrinsic safety) explosion-proof type.
The baffle armature is a high-tech, fully sealed flexible sealing system that moves between two opposing valve seats.
The baffle type solenoid valve has an extremely long service life, and all valves are equipped with isolation diaphragms. There is a magnet above the vertical armature, and the lightweight baffle moves around the pivot points located below the two valve seats with almost no friction. This working principle applies to two position two-way and two position three-way, where all interfaces are located on the same plane of the valve body or in a straight line on the bottom plate.
This valve is commonly used to control neutral gases and liquids, and is also commonly used as a pilot valve for pneumatic valves, suitable for both hazardous and non hazardous areas.
Due to the isolation diaphragm of the baffle solenoid valve, the mechanical components of the valve are isolated from the medium, making it suitable for corrosive media. Small dead zones and washability are crucial for this application. This working principle can miniaturize the valve, and there are currently products with a width of only 4.5 mm. The electromagnetic valve has a compact structure and its small and efficient coil has low thermal effects, thus improving its applicability to corrosive or ultra pure media.
The intrinsically safe explosion-proof type is suitable for hazardous areas and has AC (alternating current), DC (direct current), and UC (universal current) power sources.
pilot valve
The pilot valve can be driven by any direct acting (plunger, rotating armature, rocker arm or baffle) solenoid valve (medium isolated or non medium isolated) to control the entire valve action. The pilot armature (not physically connected to the main valve seal) can assist in opening the valve, or it can be mechanically connected by springs or hard coupled to further assist in opening the valve when the pressure difference between the two ends of the valve is insufficient.
Balance room
The pressure is balanced inside the chamber, which is also the space where the diaphragm or piston retracts and allows the medium to flow.
Pilot channel
Make the medium flow out of the balance chamber and pass it downwards through the pilot valve to assist in opening the main valve.
