Overview of CN18-2017 Multi cycle Encoder
The CN18-2017 18 bit 10 bit (12 bit) multi turn value encoder is specially developed for the actuator industry and automation industry. It can measure and remember the position of the angle, and has * information on the rotation angle and number of rotations within the range.
The SSI interface (synchronous serial interface) is used to transmit single loop angles and multi loop values (UART optional). The encoder has a 12 bit single loop resolution of 4096 (0.087 degrees), and can remember 4096 loops for multiple loops. It operates at a single 5V voltage and does not lose signals when powered off (no battery supply, mechanical memory). The mechanical zero position can be set arbitrarily. Strong resistance to earthquakes and dust.

This encoder belongs to a precision optoelectronic and magnetic hybrid encoder, which integrates precision mechanical, electrical, optical, and magnetic technologies. The single turn angle is completed by a magnetic encoder, and the number of turns is memorized by six photoelectric encoding disks. Therefore, the encoder remembers position information. Whether the encoder is powered on or not, it can remember any angle and number of turns within the range.
