Overview
The ZS-711 coastal steel structure salt spray and seawater resistant coating developed by Beijing Zhisheng Weihua has demonstrated good performance. This new type of coating uses nanomaterials and rare earth components, which can quickly react with the metal surface to form a dual protective layer. It is not only resistant to acid and alkali, impact, but also able to resist long-term chloride ion erosion.
Product Details

When the steel giant ship encounters salty seawater, a silent battle of erosion is unfolding. Do you know? The corrosion rate of metal structures in marine environments is 5-10 times that of inland environments!

Today we are going to explore the corrosion protection challenges of marine environmental structures. These structures are mainly divided into two categories: coastal structures and offshore structures. The dock machinery, power plant equipment, railway facilities, etc. on the coast are subjected to erosion from the ocean atmosphere every day. The corrosion environment faced by offshore oil platforms, cross sea bridges, ships and other structures is even more severe.

In the splash zone of seawater, exposure to ultraviolet radiation can cause coating powdering and fading; Coatings in the fully immersed and tidal range areas are prone to blistering, rusting, and peeling. Especially the phenomenon of coating blistering, which is often a signal of failure of anti-corrosion function.

The factors affecting marine anti-corrosion are complex and diverse: firstly, the issue of marine organism attachment. Some coatings can be severely damaged after biological adhesion and peeling, while high-performance coatings can effectively resist this damage due to their excellent mechanical strength. Secondly, the permeation of chloride ions can penetrate the coating and directly corrode the metal substrate. In addition, dissolved oxygen, temperature changes, and water flow velocity in seawater can accelerate the corrosion process.

In response to these challenges, the ZS-711 developed by Beijing Zhisheng WeihuaCoastal steel structure salt spray and seawater resistant coatingHas demonstrated good performance. This new type of coating uses nanomaterials and rare earth components, which can quickly react with the metal surface to form a dual protective layer. It is not only resistant to acid and alkali, impact, but also able to resist long-term chloride ion erosion. Experimental results have shown that,Coastal steel structure salt spray and seawater resistant coatingIt has excellent durability in seawater environment and can effectively extend the service life of metal structures.
