Inhibiting condensation: One of the core reasons for indoor wall moisture is that the wall temperature is lower than the dew point temperature of the air, causing water vapor in the air to condense on the wall. The excellent thermal insulation performance of coatings can effectively maintain the stability of wall surface temperature, avoid low wall temperature, and reduce the formation conditions of condensation water from the root.
Physical moisture barrier: The cured coating forms a dense three-dimensional network structure, which can effectively isolate the penetration of water vapor in the air, prevent water vapor from entering the interior of the wall, and prevent the wall from becoming damp, softening, or breeding mold.
Adsorption purification assisted moisture-proof: The microporous structure in the coating has strong adsorption performance, which can adsorb and fix some harmful gases and free water vapor in the indoor environment in the pores, further optimize the indoor humidity environment through neutralization reaction, and assist in improving the moisture-proof effect.
Anti fungal ability: reaching level 10 of ASTM D-3273-73T standard, it can effectively inhibit the growth of mold and bacteria in humid environments, avoid problems such as mold spots and odors on walls, especially suitable for indoor spaces with high humidity such as bathrooms, kitchens, and basements.
Small crack coverage and waterproof leakage: Coatings can cover small cracks on the surface of walls, forming a continuous waterproof coating that effectively blocks the penetration of small amounts of water seepage or condensation, further consolidating the moisture-proof effect and protecting the wall substrate from water vapor erosion.
Temperature regulation assisted moisture prevention: Through efficient thermal insulation performance, the coating can maintain a relatively stable indoor temperature, reduce wall temperature fluctuations caused by day night temperature differences or seasonal changes, lower the probability of water vapor condensation caused by temperature differences, and maintain a dry indoor environment for a long time.
Construction environment: Construction should be carried out in a ventilated and dry environment with a relative humidity of less than 60% and a temperature above 10 ℃; If the environmental humidity is high and the temperature is low, a heat source can be used for heating and curing, but the surface temperature of the coating should not exceed 70 ℃ to avoid vaporization bubbles that affect the continuity of the moisture-proof coating.
Construction method: Brushing, rolling, wiping or spraying (airless high-pressure spray gun) can be used, and the coating should be thoroughly mixed before construction; When the coating thickness is greater than 0.5mm, it is recommended to use multiple layers of construction. The thickness of the first layer should be controlled at around 0.3mm, and the thickness of each subsequent layer should not exceed 1mm. The next layer should be applied after the surface of the previous layer has dried (at room temperature for ≥ 30 minutes), and the brushing direction should be perpendicular to the previous layer.
Substrate treatment: Before construction, it is necessary to ensure that the wall substrate is flat, dry, and free of oil and dust. If the substrate has a large area of moisture or leakage, it needs to be treated with basic waterproofing before painting.
