1Basic Introduction to Remote Power Supply
The application modes of remote power supply are divided into two network structures: single end (local end only) and double end (local end+remote end). The DC remote power supply system consists of two parts: local equipment and remote equipment. The basic working principle of remote power supply: The backup power supply of the computer room -48V basic power supply is isolated and boosted to DC high voltage (230-410V) by the local end equipment, and then transmitted to the remote (load) equipment end through composite optical cables or dedicated cables. The remote end then transforms the DC high voltage to the standard input voltage required by the load equipment (-48V, DC260V or AC220V) to power the remote communication equipment, providing 24-hour uninterrupted and stable power supply, as well as maintenance free power supply guarantee under harsh conditions.
Performance characteristics: It has protection functions such as output overvoltage, open circuit, short circuit, leakage, lightning protection, and strong current intrusion for transmission lines; When the above faults occur in the transmission line, the local equipment will automatically protect within ≤ 50ms, stop outputting DC high voltage, and only output the line inspection voltage of ≤ 48V. During system protection, it has sound and light alarm functions, and different protection states correspond to different indicator lights, which does not affect the normal operation of other modules. After troubleshooting, the device will automatically restore output power supply after a delay of 30 seconds, without the need for manual reset operation. Equipment anti surge function. Lightning protection levels of 20KA, 30KA, and 60KA (choose according to usage conditions). The output voltage of the remote module is adjustable.
