Product Details

DTRO membrane garbage leachate treatmentfeature

1. The pre-treatment system is simple, and the leachate can enter the DTRO system through a filter (precision filtration).
2. Strong resistance to impact loads and basically unaffected by fluctuations in incoming water quality.
3. The filtrate is separated into two parts: concentrated solution (pollutant content *) and clean water (containing a small amount of salt) through a disc tube reverse osmosis membrane (DTRO), which is a pure physical separation. Compared with biochemical treatment processes, DTRO process equipment has a smaller footprint, higher degree of automation, and lower requirements for operation and management personnel.
4. If a malfunction occurs accidentally, the startup and shutdown time will be short.
5. Adopting a membrane module structure, it is easy to renovate and expand.
6. Shorten the time for leachate production and reduce maintenance time after landfill site closure.
On the other hand, choosing to use two-stage DTRO can ensure stable effluent quality of garbage leachate and meet the expected discharge standards.

DTRO membrane garbage leachate treatmentThe DTRO membrane process for garbage leachate treatment has a wide channel: the channel between the membranes is 6mm, while the membrane module with roll packaging is only 0.2mm; the process is short: the flow of liquid on the membrane surface is only 7cm, while the membrane module with roll packaging is 100cm; turbulence: due to the high pressure, the leachate hits the convex points on the guide plate and forms high-speed turbulence. Under the erosion of this turbulence, pollutants are not easily deposited on the membrane surface. In roll packaged membrane components, the mesh support will trap pollutants, causing static water zones and resulting in membrane fouling.

The open flow channel and turbulent flow state of the DTRO system make it less prone to contamination. However, due to the extremely complex composition of pollutants in leachate, the system will inevitably accumulate substances such as scale, organic matter, colloids, metal oxides, and bacteria on the concentrated water side of the membrane after K phase operation, resulting in membrane fouling. Membrane fouling can hinder water permeation and increase salt permeability. The inorganic substances causing membrane fouling are mainly compounds of S, Si, Ca, Fe, and Al, while the organic substances are alkyl hydrocarbons, chloroalkanes, and ester hydroxyl compounds.
