(1) Pre startup inspection:

Ensure that the power supply of the fire pump is connected and working properly, check if the electrical control box is turned on, and if the electrical control equipment is operating normally.

Check if the inlet and outlet of the fire pump are unobstructed and free from debris blockage.

Connect the process of the fire pump pipeline network and control the pressure of the pipeline network using the valve of the fire water storage tank.

Check whether the fasteners of the fire pump are firm and whether the lubricating oil is in the specified position.

Turn the car 2-3 times and check if it rotates smoothly.

Ensure that the grounding meets the requirements.

(2) Start program:

Open the inlet and outlet valves of the pump.

Press the start button to activate the fire pump.

If it is a soft start control box, the switch should be turned to the "manual" position, the start button should be pressed, and the motor will start. After the soft starter works, it will automatically switch to make the motor run normally.

(3) Operation monitoring:

Closely observe the operation status of the water pump to ensure its normal operation and prevent any abnormal situations.

Check whether the inlet and outlet pressure, motor and pump body temperature, and noise of the pump are normal.

Adjust the operating parameters of the water pump, such as water flow rate, water pressure, etc., to improve the fire extinguishing effect.

(4) Pump shutdown procedure:

Press the stop button to stop the pump.

Close the inlet and outlet valves.

Make good records, including pump start time, pump stop time, operating status, etc. Export pressure, motor and pump body temperature, noise, etc. When stopping the pump, it is necessary to press the stop button to stop the pump and close the inlet and outlet valves.
