The FQ pneumatic fan is a series of mining pneumatic pressure type axial flow local ventilation fan (hereinafter referred to as the fan) produced by Zibo Jinhe Fan Co., Ltd. It is a type of ventilation fan driven by an air motor. The fan has a compact structure, small volume, easy installation, safe use, low noise, and is suitable for blowing out gas and harmful gases accumulated in the ventilation dead corners of coal mines, especially in corner areas. The structural characteristics of ventilation fans are coal mine use, explosion-proof type, and axial flow type.

1 Main specifications and technical parameters

1.1 Method for representing ventilation fan models.

Example: FQ № 5.0, F represents ventilation fan, Q represents pneumatic, 5.0 represents impeller diameter of 5.0dm.

1.2 Normal operating conditions of ventilation fan

a) Altitude not exceeding 2000m;

b) Working temperature:+4 ℃ to+40 ℃;

c) Relative humidity of ambient air: not exceeding 90% RH (at+25 ℃);

d) No strong vibrations or corrosive gases, etc;

e) Installed in the workplace required for coal mines with explosive gas hazards.

1.3 Performance range of ventilation fan.

The performance parameters of the ventilation fan are shown in Table 1. The given performance is obtained through actual simulation tests of standard pipeline network, with gas temperature t=20 ℃ and gas density ρ=1.2 kg/m3Converted under standard conditions of atmospheric pressure p=101325Pa.

2 Structure and its characteristics

2.1 Overall structure, working principle, and working characteristics.

The ventilation fan consists of components such as a guide vane, impeller, pneumatic motor, and casing. The pneumatic motor is installed in the explosion-proof chamber inside the casing, connected to the impeller through a transmission group and drives the impeller to rotate. The airflow enters the rotating impeller from the guide fluid, and the airflow accelerated by the impeller is deflected by the guide vanes, causing the airflow discharged by the fan to rotate and blow away harmful gases such as accumulated gas in the tunnel.

2.2 Main components and their functions.

The ventilation fan is mainly composed of four main components: impeller, casing, pneumatic motor, and collector

The casing, explosion-proof chamber, impeller, current collector and other structural components of the ventilation fan are all welded with low carbon steel. The pneumatic motor is connected to the explosion-proof chamber inside the casing with bolts. The impeller is welded from the hub and blades and connected to the output shaft of the pneumatic motor through a transmission group. The weight of the impeller is borne by the transmission group, greatly reducing the load capacity of the pneumatic motor and improving the service life of the fan.

The compressed air introduced from the underground compressed air pipeline is connected to the air inlet of the pneumatic motor on the ventilation fan casing through a rubber hose. After opening the valve, the compressed air drives the pneumatic motor, which drives the impeller to rotate. The impeller does work on the air, giving it energy and discharging it out of the fan at a certain speed. Before discharging the fan, the airflow rotates under the deflection of the air guide plate.

2.3 Characteristics of ventilation fan

3.1 Using pneumatic motor drive, it is safe and reliable to use in environments with explosive hazards.

3.3.2 The fan impeller is driven by gas and has superior overload protection function. There will be no dangerous phenomena such as strong friction and rigid damage that may occur with electric motor drive.
