Fiber ball nitrocellulose wool ball is made by tying polyester fiber threads together. It uses a large number of biological groups attached to its surface to repeatedly contact with oxygen and sewage, degrading suspended solids and organic matter in the wastewater to achieve the treatment goal. Compared with traditional steel particle filter media, it has the advantages of good elasticity, no floating surface, large gaps, long working cycle, and small head loss. During the filtration process, the gaps in the filter layer gradually decrease along the direction of water flow, which is more in line with the ideal filter material. IIIfiber ballUsage conditions:
1. This medium is used to remove solid matter, iron, and some bacteria from non oily water. If used for oily wastewater, the oil content in the water should be ∠ 3mg/l, and backwashing should use a cleaning agent to remove oil stains from the medium.
2. When the filtration resistance is greater than 0.2MPa-0.25MPa or the filtered water quality approaches the control index, it should be backwashed in a timely manner.
3. Backwashing can be achieved by using gas recoil fire mechanical stirring method to loosen and float the fiber balls. When using mechanical stirring, it should be done slowly to avoid damaging the fiber balls.
4. It is advisable to choose a filter layer height of 1-1.2m (this height is the height when loose). Users can also freely choose according to their needs. When the filter layer is high, the filtering resistance increases and the removal rate is high. When the filter layer is low, the filtering resistance decreases and the removal rate is reduced.
