HP129 is a polymer with a macroporous polystyrene skeleton modified with a selective coordination function for molybdenum ions. Coordination groups can form very stable complexes with molybdenum, while being inert to other anions, which helps to selectively remove molybdenum ions from water.

Application scenarios
HP129 is suitable for selective molybdenum extraction from molybdic acid containing leaching solution produced by molybdenum wet smelting process.

Project Case
Case study of deep removal of molybdenum from leachate of a certain research institute
A certain research institute deeply removes molybdenum from the leachate by adsorption method, and the molybdenum ions in the feed solution are removed. The molybdenum content in the original solution is about 1200mg/L. The purified feed solution meets the requirement of effluent molybdenum content<5mg/L. The analytical solution is recovered and treated to achieve resource recycling.
