1. Processing air volume (Q) refers to the volume of gas that can be purified by dust removal equipment in a unit of time. The unit is cubic meters per hour (m3/h) or standard cubic meters per hour (Nm3/h). It is one of the most important factors in the design of bag filters. When designing or selecting a bag filter based on air volume, it is generally not allowed to operate the filter beyond the specified air volume, otherwise the filter bag is prone to clogging,The lifespan is shortened, the pressure loss increases significantly, and the dust removal efficiency also needs to be reduced; But the air volume should not be chosen too high, otherwise it will increase equipment investment and land occupation. The reasonable selection of air volume for processing is often determined based on process conditions and experience.


2. For bag filters, the operating temperature depends on two factors: the temperature that the filter material can withstand and the gas temperature must be above the dew point temperature. At present, due to the extensive use of fiberglass filter media, its operating temperature can reach 280 ℃. Cooling measures must be taken for gases above this temperature, and heating measures must be taken for gases below the dew point temperature. For bag filters, the relationship between operating temperature and dust removal efficiency is not obvious, which is different from electrostatic precipitators. For electrostatic precipitators, temperature changes can affect the specific resistance of dust and other factors that affect dust removal efficiency


3. The inlet dust concentration, also known as the inlet dust concentration, is determined by the process of the dust collection point. When designing or selecting a bag filter, it is another important factor second only to the processing air volume. Expressed in g/m3 or g/Nm3. For bag filters, the inlet dust concentration will directly affect the following factors: ⑴ pressure loss and cleaning cycle. As the inlet concentration increases, the rate of ash accumulation on the same filtration area increases, leading to an increase in pressure loss. As a result, it is necessary to increase the frequency of ash cleaning. ⑵ Wear and tear of filter bags and boxes. In the case where dust has strong abrasive properties, its wear amount can be considered proportional to the dust concentration. Is pre dust collection necessary. Pre dust collection refers to adding another stage of dust removal equipment, also known as pre dust removal, before the inlet of the dust collector. The ash discharge capacity of the ash discharge device. The ash discharge capacity of the ash discharge device should be based on the ability to discharge all collected dust, and the amount of dust is equal to the inlet dust concentration multiplied by the processing air volume. ⑸ Operation method. Bag filters are divided into two operating modes: positive pressure and negative pressure. To reduce fan wear, positive pressure operation is not suitable for those with high inlet concentration.

4. The export dust concentration refers to the emission concentration of the dust collector, expressed in the same way as the inlet dust concentration.
